2011 - 2015
In February 2011 I was hired for my first professional design job by StyleTread Co-Founders Bjorn Behrendt and Mark Rowland. As a member of the Design and Content Team my duties included uploading and updating products online and creating photographic content for all marketing channels, including digital banners, website imagery, EDM, and print marketing.
Due to my eagerness to learn, my eye for design, and my cooperative dedication I quickly became the in-house Head Photographer, creating a full photography studio from the ground up, curated for both web product and creative photography. This allowed other team members to easily pick up the camera and shoot, as needed, without the worry of lighting set ups and tripod placement.
In early 2013 StyleTread opened another online store called Killcom.com aimed at the sneaker consumer. I was heavily involved in its design and photography and designed and coded the Brands List page. Later in 2013 The Munro Family Group took over StyleTread and I aliasing with the Marketing Manager on the UX and UI side of the business, I was assigned to redesign the StyleTread Product Page, which the changes has increased the Return on Investment (ROI) by 1.15%, at the time, I was told the design change has helped bring in around $10k a month, I was also involved redesigning the Wanted Shoes product, and check out pages.
In the late 2015 I left StyleTread to help start up another shoe brand called Antoine & Stanley.
